About one month ago my refrigerator started beeping randomly when the I opened the refrigerator door. I went throught the owners manaul to see if this was a code for something and could not find any information. Any ideas what could be causing this?

Same thing...and it drives me nuts! Comes and goes. Called the "hot line" and let them listen to it. Was told they never heard of it before. Suggested I call a technician. I don't have the insurance for that!

Recently I thought one of my kitchen appliances was beeping and it took an hour to discover that the real culprit was a dying battery in a nearby smoke alarm.
