You most like have a broken rotary encoder (looks like a potentiometer). If that is the case you need this part:

or if you don't have soldering skills you can get this part with its pcb for easy replacement:

My cdj mk1 jog wheel is stiff when turning an scratchin.

One or more of the bearing wheels have become damaged underneath the jog wheel. You need to strip the unit down and remove the wheel to get access to find the broken / stuck wheels. Replace, or re-seat, and you should be back up and running. The jog wheel is a lot simpler than it looks, once you have it out. Just be careful of the sheet switch, which detects pressure on the wheel. They're very fragile and vulnerable!

Does the pioneer cdj-800 play mp3?

Yes it does. Pionner's CDJs are compatible with mp3s since CDJ200.

My jog wheel sticks / doesn't glide like it should...

I had the exact same problem. I was working a party when some drunk ******* spilled some beer in my coffin case, thus getting into the jog wheel and cue button. I continued to work with it for a few months but got pretty fed up and brought it to a pio dealer. They fixed it up quick and cheap, now it glides like my other mk3s. I'd say bring it in a get a quick quote.

Cdj800 jog wheel stops working after 45mins

The drive motor on this unit is probably about to die, or the contact pad underneath the platter is damaged. In either case, you'll have to take it to a qualified service technician for diagnosis and repair.

Jog wheel on my 800i doesnt work properly, will only let me scroll up

most ericsson phone with jog wheels have the same issue, i had a k750i before using 800i and i had to deal with it before getting it repaired, a work around i did was to open the unit up, look for the contacts of the wheel, and clean it with a pencil eraser. it may come back in a few months, if in case this did not do, replacing the scroll wheel set and its contacts will be replaced too. best if you go to an ericsson authorized repair center if you want to replace the parts.

Pitch control center moved

Hello, Mr. Dixon.
I had the same problem and i decided it whit this procedure:

1. Restoring Factory Default Settings

2. Set the PITCH Slider to the center ( 0 ) position.

3. With the CDX-05 in the start mode displaying “no Disk” hold down EJECT and TIME/ENTER and press FILTER. The TEMP display in the LCD reads 0.0 and the procedure is complete.

Good luck!

My jogging stroller shakes

Well, i'm not positive in this, seeing how I never had kids, but while jogging are you pushing down harder on the stroller? or you could look for smaller wheels to put it on, but then again you might have'ft to bend over to do it, and if the handle which you push is tall that has to do with force viberating the stroller
