6A00 says the purge unit is jammed on the right side where the printhead parks.Sometimes you can just push back the squeegee assembly to free it and clean with a wet Q-tip. Other times you can only have the purge unit replaced.

I hope it will solve the issue..

MARELT:

If you are still there seeking a solution, and didn't have success with the above, I will be happy to work with you on it. I have significant experience with these type printers, and will work with you until resolved. Please do not rate or close out the issue until we have agreed that we are fixed, or have tried everything, as troubleshooting is one step at a time and I will stick with you throughout.

Can you tell if any of the miscellaneous pieces, such as springs, belts, nuts & bolts, etc., are out of place or otherwise loose or malfunctioning? Often, this type of noise, accompanied by the failure of the carrier to return to center, is generated by two things: some part is out of place or otherwise damaged (could be as simple as a loose screw or cartridge not exactly placed properly) or there may be an issue with the print head itself. However, my experience has most often been that there may be a relatively easy solution, it just takes time to find it. Please let me know by posting back if you care to pursue, and I am further researching your specific model now.

Epson D88 will not print, both red lights flash, message remove obstruction switch off and on. No change still 2 redlights flashing

The Lights can flash on an error and also iff the INK levels are down. You must check the ink levels and try to do a reset with printer software reinstalled.
Remvoe pinter from the PC, unistall and then reinstall to see if the printer shows the INK level exactly. If not replace INK cartridges to confirm.

Canon Pixma IP6700D

Hi there

Error A600
Your A600 is a paper path error, usually related to the purge unit. Try checking the purge unit for paper stuck in it.

The 6A00 is a Canon generic code for paper path jam.
Some where in the paper path a sensor is activated indicating paper jam so the printer will give off a 6A00 code.
Almost 90% of the time is related to the purge unit being jammed with something and not being able to move.

Look for paper, paper clips, push pins, screws flower bud pods or the like.

The offending item needs to be removed or the purge unit needs replacement.

The purge unit, called a spittoon assembly in an HP, Lexmark, and other inkjet printers, is where the print head assembly parks when not in use, also its other job is to clean and make sure the print head is clean and open for printing. That is why you'll find the print head assembly parked on top of it. It also has an electrical pump to milk the print heads and test for ink flow.

The purge unit is a white plastic assembly (on the right side of the printer where the print head homes) that is spring loaded on rides on a rail.
You can try moving it back and forth about 5 times or so and clean the rail with a cleanex and putting a little bit of some light oil on it and then close everything up and try it.

If you found this useful all I ask is call back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one, so I will keep on helping.

Ink Tank not recognized

Here's info on the reset:
When your printer detects a problem with the cartridge you are attempting to use, a flag is set inside the device. This flag may not reset until you perform a hard reset on the device.

1. Verify that the printer is turned on.
2. Open printer's lid/top cover and remove all of the cartridges from their carriers. Close the lid/top cover.
3. Unplug the power cord from the printer.
4. Wait for 10 minutes.
5. Plug the power cord back into the printer.
6. Open the lid/top cover and reinsert both cartridges back in to their carriers.
7. Turn the printer on.
8. Print a test page.
