If the radio is a factory radio the code to unlock it should be on a bussiness card size peice of paper with the owners manual and warrentee booklet. The card will say radio code and have a six digit number.

Mostly, the card lock can be unlocked by sliding the lock switch to open position. You stated that you have already tried that.

In case the issue persists, it could mean the the write protect on this card was perhaps set by mistake while it was connected to the computer.

You will need to use the computer to cancel the read-only setting.

Please connect the card to your computer through the camera or a card reader and cancel the write protect on the card.

Right click on the card and go to properties and un-check the "Read Only" box.

This will take care of the issue.

When this problem occur you need to set the memory card unlock or not protected. Remove the memory card from camera and you can see a small button in the memory card, so you need to slide that to set the memory card unlock or not protected.

The only way to unlock is to hold the menu button down for three seconds. This will lock or unlock the recorders functions.
