Question about Toshiba 2060 Copier

2 Answers

Energy Saver I would like to turn this off....whenever I seem to need to make a copy in a hurry it is on energy saver and then I have to wait for it to warm up. I learned that I can change the amount of time before the energy saver option comes on- however, it doesn't give me the option to just shut the option off. Thanks! Karyn

On most copiers, you can't totally disable it... it's all part of that "energy star" rating thing. It's annoying, i know.

Odds are that some one did some panic button pushing at one time. You need to look in your owners manual or down load one from the web. Or you can go into the user settings and scroll down to were you see a setting for energy save. Good Luck

How can I turn on the energy saver on my LWHD2400HR air conditioner? There is no switch on the A/C, only an indicator light that says "Energy Saver"?

The Energy Saver mode is activated by using the hand held remote control, that comes with the unit. Pressing the Energy Saver button activates it. Once activated the fan will shut OFF when the the compressor does. After which, about every 3 minutes the fan will turn ON to check the room air to determine if cooling is needed.

It sounds like, you're missing the hand held remote control?

Not really a question is it? However, you should use the energy saver whenever you need to save energy.

I'm considering a Canon D340 multi-function copier and notice it has an "energy saver" button rather than an on/off switch. After making a copy, the panel goes dark. If you select the "energy saver"...

There is still power to the machine. It is simply waiting to be used. These machines use an "instant on" fuser. These fusers (the part that heats up to fix the toner to the paper) do not use a heater lamp that needs to stay hot. They use a thermal head that can heat up within a few seconds so no need to stay on and hot all the time.
