i have programmed it to log 50 @ this ext, 50 @ another and 50 @ one more. the total # of availlble log space is 200.

i still cannot retrieve the logged info.

only incoming id info is saved.

if i am not @ the answered ext, it saves a log to the other exts.

after it's been retrieved from there, it is not saved or i do not know how to retrieve it.

    ideas?

Are you getting caller ID?

Under phones/sets, you have to tell the system to log the calls.

I have the panasonic system, and one of my phones shows the callers name and number, and the other twm just display the number, does that mean I have a CID card? And how to I enable the name and number...

Look at the phones. The one that shows both the name and number is either a 7735 or 7736 :-) They are 3 line of display as opposed to the 2 lines of the 30 and 31.

In a TA series phone system, you can adjust what is logged and either have name or number priority, you would press the CID-S button that you set up to toggle to the opposite display while the phone is ringing or you're talking. It's section 9.3 of the maintenance tool or 904 in system commands.

When i plug in my router the ip address changes and i cant access net

This issue is possibly due to a configuration problem
1.Log into router
2. Verify wireless router name( on the computer) >>> ( on/off)
3.Note router name you are connecting to.
4.. Check the laptop do ipconfig /all to see current IP addresses.
5. Set the laptop up in the router by WEP KEY or MAC address.
6.Note router name you are connecting to.
7. Move the laptop about 20ft away and try to log on to the internet.
This is for all routers to set up wirelessly.

I cant train its name

well I had trouble training my retreiver. I kept repeating the name. so I first tryed going into the quietest room, holding the ds about 6 - 18 inches away from my mouth. and I spoke as clearly as i could. it worked for one of my future dogs. but this retreiver just wasn't working with me. so I changed the name that I liked just the same and she learned it.
( joke) -- to me it seems that if they don't like the name they won't learn it..... :D haha

Strange functioning Caller ID

This is a long shot but worht asking, have you ever defaulted the system? You should default the system before installation and programming to clear out any bad data. If the system is brand new and the memory battery never turned on previously this would not be an issue.
