If the computer is restarting continously at the windows loading screen then you have a windows issue of which your computer is "Blue Screening" and restarting. In this case you arent really seeing the blue screen as windows restarts immediately as the error occurs. My advice to you is to press F8 before the windows loading screen and choose to "not restart automatically on error" that is not entirely what it says but its to that regard. If that doesnt work try pressing the "Pause Break button continously until the blue screen appears, read the error and google it to find out what is causing the error and go from there. Please feel free to get back to me on this if my information doesnt help or i need to explain further.

How to turn on timed auto power on dell 270x slim

its done through your bios. Hold down f2 key or the del key depending on which bios chip is installed. Once in there you can navigate to the power features specific to your machine.....quite simple really!

Boot problem

it sounds like the hard drive has died. to know for sure, push f12 at the boot screen and boot to the diagnostic partition. if it will load, the diagnostic tests will tell you exactly whats wrong, if it wont then the hard drive is definitely bad.

Got a dell optiplex GX260 which keep on restarting.

Check your fan oover the processor and make sure its spinning. Next check if the heatsink is dirty then and clean it if necessary. If you do not feel comfortable opening your computer up, take it to a repair shop and explain the problem to them.

Diablotek radeon 9200 problems.....please help

OK, turn-off the computer, remove and replace the BIOS battery, then start it up with the VGA cable in the onboard graphics port.
Press the corresponding key to go into BIOS setup (Del?) and go to the Integrated Devices menu.
Change the option from onboard to PCI in the Video options.
Exit and save settings. As the computer restarts (you'll have to be quick) swap the VGA cable back to the Radeon's port.

Dell GX260

can you be more specific when describing the computer 'struggling to restart'? Does it beep? Does it take several attempts to restart?
