Question about Diamond Audio D7401 Car Audio Amplifier
A light beside the fan comes on then goes right back off
cant find a place for a fuse either
There is no fuse on this amp. It requires EXTERNAL fusing, as it is a PRO amp.
There are diagnostic LED's on the board if you look inside. They may point you to a problem, but the odds are the amp is shutting down because it is detecting a problem. You need to take it to a repair shop for an good tech to fix. Unless you are VERY into electronics, and very knowledgeable about the operation and repair of car amps, I would not attempt to repair it yourself. It is a very nice, expensive, high power old school amp. The power wiring needs to be sufficient as well. This amp will draw ALOT of current at full power. (80 amps or so I think) there's manuals for it floating around the net with the exact specs needed for the external fuse).
