The froth system does not sustain steam pressure or blows the cap off the shaft. This occurred at time of initial setup and continues to occur.

That happens because there is too much pressure, or because the cap is broken.
Too much pressure can be caused by a thermistor cutting off too late, or by lines clogged.
Call Jura, describe the problem, and point out that you have had the problem since first use. The machine is factory defective and must be repaired or replaced at manufacturer expenses.
Note: If you purchased the coffee machine second hand, then you may need to repair it at your own expenses. In that case the thermostat must be replaced.

My mb4 is stitching designs off centered and when i started the machine it hit the hoop and broke the needle. i replaced the needle but now the thread keeps breaking?

Remove the thread and rethread. Usually, thread breakage occurs when the thread is not following the thread path. However, there could be other reasons:

I have a Singer CG-550 and am sewing a heavyweight fabric using needle size 18. The engine whirs but the needle no longer moves up and down once it hits the fabric. It occurred suddenly, and I wonder

The motor may not have enough torque to force the needle through the fabric and back in a cycle. If you continue to force the needle into course material, it could bend the shaft, needle, or cause a misalignment of the needle pitch and direction. It sounds like the machine is a light duty appliance and you cannot force it to do commercial appliations.

Pfaff 1371 pressure foot won't come down on it's own

I just addressed this issue with my 6110. There is a spring in the shaft for the pressure foot. Over time the white grease that lubricates the spring and the plastic piston at the top dried up, gumming up the works. I took it all apart, cleaned out the bad (now hard grease), re-greased and put it all back together. Works like new. I used a lithium grease as it is easy on plastic parts.

My machine will not make a proper stitch. I've re-threaded it 3 times, but the stitch only occurs once in every3-4inches-I have just loose thread on my material.

have you tried changing the needle-if the needle has a flat side goes to the back of the machine-round needle the groove faces away from the shaft

check the top thread tension usually 3 to 5

The needle thread do not cath the other thread to do the looping anymore? This matter occur after a major fabric jam under the foot. What could be the problem?

The most likely culprit is timing. Severe fabric jams tend to cause slippage of linkage connecting loopers to the drive shaft. The timing will probably need to be adjusted. If you have the service manual (not the owner's manual) and tools you can attempt to make this adjustment yourself. If this is outside of your comfort zone, please take your machine to a qualified sewing machine technician.

I just had my machine serviced went to start it

If the needle is hitting something it sounds to me as though the machine has gone out of time, providing you have made sure that the tensions are set properly and the most obvious thing which is the needle in the correct way round then timing is very suspect, I can attach timing instructions if you email me

Pfaff 1471 foot problem. Foot wont go down all the way, I have to press on it manually and hold with a finger for the foot to stay down for enough pressure to run over the fabric. feed dogs are up. Not...

Try lubricating the pressure foot shaft where it slides up and down (2 Places). To do this you need to remove the left side cover - the flat black screw in the slot under the left side of the carrying handle. Back the screw off slightly and pull off the left side plate. This should allow you to oil the shaft. I use Mobile 1 Synthetic 0W-20 oil. I find it works extremely well, as good or better than sewing machine oil. The problem is caused by the original grease they used when these machines were manufactured. The grease hardens over time (especially if the machine hasn't been used for awhile) and causes the shaft to stick. You might need to use a little penetrating oil initially, especially if the shaft is really stuck. This is a fine machine - good luck... LS.
