It is not clear if the problem started suddenly or whether you have been doing some reconnection / renovation work and have reconnected the dishwashers.

F1 means the flood switch is activated, ie, the dishwasher is not able to control the inlet water.

This happening at the same time in both drawers is hard to understand. Have you tried shutting off and turning on the water supply? Is there any chance the water pressure has changed from the normal for your supply.- How to check what pressure your unit is set for is shown in the user guide - HP or LP. But I am not sure you can check that if the F1 display comes on.

You will need a technician to look at it if problem does not go away.

I believe getting F1 in both drawers could be due to water collecting at the bottom of the dishwasher housing where the floodswitch is located. This could be due to number of reasons including dishwasher not draining out water or a crack in the inlet or drain hoses.

Can you extend out the bottom drawer (turn mains power off) that is, take it out of the housing? These instructions are in the installation guide (not the user guide). You can see the flood switch at the back. If you find water then you can dry it out (towels and hair dryer) and put drawer back and see if F1 goes away.

Of course then you need to find out the source of the water collection and fix it. Some find the dishwasher tablet or incorrect powder can cause lot of foam which overflows into the housing and affects the flood switch. If hoses are cracked then you will have to replace (or try with duct tape temporarily).

Fisher paykel dd603 - both drawer units just come on and won't turn off - turn off power several times at breaker - tried reset - turns off briefly then comes back on -

There is water collected at the base of the dishwasher which is tripping flood switch. Will need to disconnect power and take the bottom drawer out and dry out the base. Need to find source of the leak. Most likely the lid seal or hoses.

Fisher paykel dishwasher dd603 won"t turn on.

Is the problem with both the drawers or just one.
When you say - will not turn on - does it mean you get a blank display?
assuming mains power is turned on (no problem with circuit breaker), then it is likely the power board at the base of dishwasher (under the bottom drawer) is faulty and needs replacement. Make sure mains power cable is taken out when you work on the dishwasher.

I have a Fisher & Paykel dish drawer model number DD603 and it is not draining. Any tricks?

Hi

Dishwasher not pumping issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. Check the drain hose for any visible clogging, remove if present. If no visible lint is present then remove then turn off the dishwasher and remove the drain hose and check for any visible clogging. If still not visible then the drain filter or drain pump is clogged and you’ll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump.

Please check the parts manual for your dishwasher, check the drain pump & drain filter's location from the link---

Please note that dishwashers don’t pump out the complete water such that heating element doesn’t overheat. Please post back for any further assistance.

Appliance: Fisher&Paykel DD603 Draining

You may want to check up if the water collects in the bottom drawer when the top drawer is in wash cycle (ie, taking water from the inlet) or during the drain cycle when it is draining water out. Leave the bottom drawer open and check while the top drawer is running.

Does it open the lid?... and does the display flash, as if paused?... if so, just clean the closed sensor lenses, top right hand corner of the drawer, and the little piece of plastic they shine into on the housing.
