Question about Vehicle Parts & Accessories
There is no solution to this, it is factory setup to prevent you from locking your keys in the car when it's running and so the trunk can not be opened by accident

Some cars will not operate locks when remote started. if you start the car with the key, check if the oem remote will still operate the locks or not. there is a way to make the locks work with the aftermarket remotes, so long as the equipment supports that function. in some cases it requires you to run wires into the driver door, or into the output wires on the lock relays.
you will be better off hooking up the locks to the new system.
