Question about HP LaserJet P3005n Printer
Check the fuser. Beside the fuser, also check the gears that connects to the fuser. You may put some grease to lubricate the gears.
Please note that fuser for P3005 is not consumer installable part. You wuould have to take out quite some parts in order to change the fuser.
The parts are available from many parts supplier. Simply google 'P3005 fuser'. Usually around $100 for a refurbished fuser.
You can also recycle your old fuser and get some moeny! (about $15-$25 per fuser).

The fuser gears are called a swing plate assembly and can be difficult to replace in some models. They are normally replaced along with the fuser as they tend to get full ot excess toner and wear down, causing the printer to become excessively noisy if you replace just the fuser alone. Always order and replace both together to save yourself some grief, noise, time, and headaches.
