The replace supplies means that something has either reached end of life or has failed and needs to be replaced. Device busy usually indicates that there is a print job queued in the printer that needs to print, but the supplies out is stopping that from happening. Clearing the print queue on your computer and then restarting your printer might clear the device busy error, but the supplies error will likely require replacement of something.
Normally if i fax is sent, it will just give a message as Fax sent or it wont give any error. But if you want to get a confirmation whether the fax is sent or not, you can print a fax confirmation page on ever fax sent or received or both.
Press the SETUP button ( menu ) Scroll till you find Print Report - Press OK Scroll till you find Automatic Reports Setup - Press OK Choose Send Only - Press ok
Press SYSTEM SETTINGS
select Admin Password and enter the password as "admin" and OK on both screens
Scroll to LIST PRINT (ADMINISTRATOR)
Select IMAGE SENDING ACTIVITY REPORT and select FAX. This will print out the log up to a maximum of 200 events ( Tx, Rx and failed sendings)
If you want a transaction report printed for each individual transmission:
Enter Admin mode as above
Got IMAGE SEND SETTINGS
TRANSACTION REPORT PRINT SELECT SETTINGS and select Single Sending / Broadcast etc and PRINT OUT ALL REPORT
Press OK then CA to exit
Yes, printer won't print if print queue is full. The fact is you are lucky your printer is giving you this message. Most printers, when queue is full, will just remain silent and leave you wandering what in the world has gone wrong. Solution is to clear the print queue. See, when you send to print and you send another when the previous hasn't printed, they queue up. Now if for any reason the first fails to print, all others will just remain queued up but will not print until you clear the print jobs queued up. To do, this go to start/control panel/printers. Right click on printer icon and select open. The respective print queue box appears. It should have all of the print jobs listed there in the box. On the menu bar click on printer and select "Cancel all documents." A box appears asking you to confirm if you want to cancel, answer yes. Then try to print again. If it still fails to print restart your PC and try to print again.

Try to clear your printer's queues up messages of all print commands that failed to print. See, what happens it when you send a document to printer, if it fails to print, and you send another, it queues up behind the first that failed to print. So instead of printing the second document it prints what you are seing, special characters etc.
Solution: Go to start/priners and faxes and right click on your printer and select open. You will all the documents for print so far queued up. select and delete them. Restart your system and the printing should be Ok.
