Orange light keeps blinking on my dell poeredge 2600

Orange blinking light means a component failure.
I had a cooling fan failure and this caused the orange light. When there is a failed fan the other fans RPM is increased to compensate. Is the server fan noise excessive?

My samsung r60plus laptop keeps overheating and shutting down.how can i fix this

This problem is caused by a faulty cooling system. The fan is probably faulty and or the heat-sink assembly is clogged with dust.
Failure to correct this problem will cause the CPU to fail.
Check the fan to see if it spins freely, if not replace the fan. Also check the heat-sink assembly/fan and remove the dust clogging these components.
If this does not fix the problem and the laptop has vents on the bottom of the laptop, then you can purchase a fan assisted cooling pad. Place the laptop on this pad and this will provide addition cooling to the laptop.

I changed the CPU fan on Dell dimension 3000 but it does not run.

Dell uses a proprietary fan on it's cpu's. This is more than likely your problem. The motherboard does not recognize the new fan and the motherboard is not powering it on. Without replacing the motherboard you are stuck using dell replacement parts for this model. The motherboard & psu are also proprietary in this model so it would take a whole lot of modification to use anything but Dell replacement parts. Your pc is shutting down due to overheating. Sorry. Hope this helps.

Dell Dimension 4600 Cpu Fan replacement help

I know that there are many of these types of system boards out there, What I would do is contact Tiger Direct either in Canada at www.tigerdirect.ca or in the US at www.tigerdirect.com and send the sales team an email sales@tiger.com - They will usually find anything that you need and have very quick and reasonable shipping rates.

Give that a try and see if it works for you.

Cooling fan Dell Dimension 3000

That is the correct way. It is a newer design that keeps the hot air from the CPU heatsink out of the case. 35C is a good temp.

Dell Inspiron 8600 - overheating and shutting down

Start by cleaning the fan and heat sink. Dirt or dust build up can cause them not to work as efficiently as they should. If cleaning doesn't fix it, you might consider replacing the fan and heat sink or purchasing a cooling pad.

Fan Malfunction??

Sounds like a heat issue, pop the side of your case open and turn on the PC, are there fans not moving? Take a close look at your processor fan if there is one.
