Wont spin Hoover Family 1300 washing machine seems to go through the cycles but doesn't spin. We have removed the front plug and there were some bits in there, like a plastic curtain hook and buttons. We are trying it again. I have seen comments about the motor brushes needing replacement. Is this a likely cause of the problem? Thanks Peter

My family 1300 is doing the same. Works fine until it gets to the spin cycle. It appears to drain the water but doesn't start spinning and you can hear like a clicking noise. any deas appreciated.
