SOURCE: i am trying to change the element on a candy cna 166

Yes, you do have to lever it out, if you have removed the center nut completely, try and pull the metal plate as far forward as you can, this should expose the rubber seal, this is what is holding the heater in.
Lever round the edge of the seal, and try to force it out, be careful,as you can break the plastic moulding (expensive)
If this does not work, then try cutting through the seal with a stanley knife, and remove it piece by piece.
You will have no trouble getting the new one back in.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

SOURCE: my Candy sprint 1300 washing

these washers have a printed circuit board that is know to burn out some components. If you can locate it and remove it, it can be resoldered at a local electronics shop, if your not confortable, most appliance repair shops can change this board at a reasonable cost. Hope this is helpful

Hot water stops filling too soon.

Fill setting has to be adjusted and the belt is slipping on the spin cycle and not generating enough centrifugal force to get the water out.

DISHWASHER GE PDW7800J00BB DOES NOT WASH ,FILLS WITH WATER BUT NO WASH

It is unclear from your description if the wash pump starts and pushes the water around but never stops cycle or the dishwasher stops as soon as the water is filled.

If you do not hear the wash pump start then it is possible the wash motor is faulty. But if the wash pump starts and never completes the wash cycle then it is possible the heater is faulty and dishwasher is waiting for water to heat up before it can go to next cycle.

See the attached diagram for location of wash pump motor and heater.

Hope this helps you find the problem. Please rate the solution if you found it useful.
