SOURCE: I need a code to
The correct code for your TV depends on which version of Sky remote you have. The remote version can be found on a sticker inside the battery compartment. In most cases this will be "Rev 4", "Rev 6" or "Rev 8". However, if you have an older Sky remote with a standard Sky box (not Sky+ or HD)it could also be "RC1600/00". If you have bought a new Sky remote recently it could be "Rev 9".
There is no specific code for your TV model so you will need to try the brand codes for Daewoo. 0092 is the generic brand code, but the are others specific to the various versions:
Rev 4: 0662, 0527, 0652, 0402, 0065, 0584
Rev 6: 0662, 0689, 0527, 0402, 1937, 0065
Rev 8: 1300, 0662, 1231, 0689, 0527, 1294
Getting Sky remotes to work when there is no specific code for a TV can be something of a black art. You should try the generic brand code first (0092) and then try the codes for whichever version of Sky remote you have. If they don't work, also try the codes for the other versions as Sky's information has proved to be inaccurate and mis-leading on numerous occasions.
Please note: some of the codes are duplicated so you only need to try them once. These codes should also work if you have a Rev 9 remote.
As you were previously able to control your TV with your Sky remote, it proves there is a code for your TV. However, it is rather strange that it has stopped working. This could be indicative of some other problem. Sky remotes can 'forget' the code when the batteries are replaced, particularly if the batteries died completely before you replaced them or you were too slow to put the new ones in.
If you haven't done so already, I suggest you replace your batteries before trying to re-enter the codes and when you find the correct code, make note of it and keep it in a safe place. There should be a space on the inside of the battery compartment to write the code but, if not, it is perfectly safe to write it on a scrap of paper and keep it in the battery compartment. Particularly useful, as you are most likely to need it when changing the batteries!
If you've tried all of the above codes and still can't get it to work, please reply to me from within this page for further assistance and let me know which version of Sky remote you have.
Hope this helps.
