Question about Dryers
My 3yr old tumble dryer goes through its cycle, for the normal 1 hour or so but when its finished the clothes aren't dry ...no heat it seems. What could be wrong and is it worth fixing cost wise versus getting a new dryer?
Check your breaker - a dryer will spin at 120 volts but needs the full 240 volts to dry. If that's not it, check your vent going outside the house and the hose coming from dryer. If its clogged, that's your problem. If not, you'll have a heating element issue which involves two separate fuses (and the element). Its best to hire someone if it gets to that point. Good luck...
