Question about HP Pavilion dv1000 Notebook
Trying to establish whether i need a new hard drive or whether the dvd rw is the problem.
lap top wont start up, keeps flicking onto a blue page just for a few seconds that mentions that they problem might be lack of space or bios settings. then the flicks off before you can read it properly. ive noticed that all the dvd keys are lit up, and am wondering if the dvd rw is broken. however i have a friend who is quite pc savy and has said its probably the hard drive and if not that the mother board. help?
If the dvd is the one that came with the Hp then u have to reload (format) the system. Or try to boot it through safe mode then disable the dvd rom in the device manager after restart the system that if u think the dvd rom is the problem.
