Question about SanDisk Sansa m240 MP3 Player

1 Answer

My Sansa m240 does not play music, it freezes.

My Sansa m240 just stopped when I was listening to music from my song list. The FM radio works just fine. When I try to play music it says "no files" and freezes. When I connect it to my XP pc it no longer appears as Sansa m240 but MTP device. I tried to format it but it does not appear on the disk management window. Is there any hope? Please help!!!!!

My sansa clip won't play the songs I loaded on!

I've had this happen a couple of times in the last 6 months. You can get it to play again by chosing the format option from the settings menu. Of course, then you've lost everything you had loaded on to it. Download your music/audio books again and they will play.

Sandisk 240m mp3 not playing

the radio and mp3 uses one audio amplifier, check if you have loaded your music with mp3 songs, if not load with mp3 songs. if songs used to play and just stopped playing, then follow these steps,

i does your display show song playing, if it does then your set is fault, and if it doent and display unsuppoted, load with mp3 songs.

ii if it was playing and just stopped, than take it to a tech, who can open it and check the change-over switch, or selector of that set.

iii the problem is to very big.

I would format the device to remove all of the data and start over.

You can FORMAT the device thru My Computer>Device Name (m240)>Right Click and select FORMAT.

Sandisk m240 freezes halfway through playlist....

When you disconnect be sure to use windows' disconnect device safely  thing on the bottom right part of the screen by the clock. Even though the player says it's not writing it probably still is even after a long period of time so if you just unplug it it will mess up whatever mp3 it was transferring at the time.
