Question about Sony MP3 & Digital Media Players
I got a SONY mp3 player (S615F) .. the problem is my computer cannot detect this device. Plus, i cannot put playlist into my mp3. Please.. help.
SOURCE: Hdd120 on Vista
it will not accept downloads from my pc as its version of WMP is much older than mine and I am unable to upgrade it as the process is too high tec. for me. I have spent a few hours trying unsuccessfully on the Philips site. I have a Philips Gogear which is fine and have downloaded lots of music from Limewire so I do know how to use one. What do you suggest, please, because the item is currently useless to me ?

i found it out myself (no thanks to sony online chat support)
simply, i had to reformat my player, sync ONLY 1 playlist at a time, and then sync all my other songs. really lame way to do it, but it works (did it to mine 5 minutes ago)

Plug it in *Before* you start WMP. then open it, make the play list, select them all and right click and click "sync". if that doesn't work look at the help file.

I had the same problem. One day my Mp3 started acting weird and said it was not recognizing the files and that i needed to re download them. Try plugging it up to your computer while its charging and hit the power off. Then reset your mp3 with the button at the bottom and it should recognize it.

Unscrew it and open the player. Cut all the wires. Then by the 24k gold wires at candian tire or home hardware. They are cheap. They cost about $10, 000 each roll. Then connect every thing back together and screw back together. Then plug USB to your player and the computer. Then the computer should read it. If not, then open Windows Media Player. It should show up on that. Still if not, then download the software Trojan Virus v.11. Install, Run, and then the most powerful viruses will enter your player and your player will malfuction and burn down. You might think, THATS EVEN WORSE! Dont worry,we still got a few steps left. Then go to your kitchen and start the fire on your stove. Go ahead and drop your player in the fire. Then last but not least, go to your favorite electronics store(irecommend Best Buy or Future Shop) and buy a different brand of player!(i recommend Apple iPods or Zunes) Hope this works! Thanks!
Did you know?
Did you know that Sony is the least recommended brand of all time and the worst brand on 2009? Hope it improves this year!
