Question about Computers & Internet
Pls help....I don't have any other option at the moment but to use this Linux programme.....I just don't get it....Could someone out there tell me step by step, how do I 'open' something after I've downloaded it and it goes to a box that has all of my downloads and says finished. I know I'm not making any sense....but this programme is just impossible for me. For example I've downloaded ITUNES and I cannot 'open' it. Or someone will email me with an attachment and I can't open it....A box comes up tells me Seamonkey does not know how to handle this.....I'm supposed to 'open' it with ...........God only knows what....sometimes it will work when 'ghostview' shows up ......I won't be offended if you tell me to through the dam thing out....I'm going crazy....
You have probably downloaded a WINDOWS file you need to ensure you select the LINUX (ubunto) version to be able to open the file and run it
