Loosen the line on the number two injector to see if the engine stumble worsens,if it does'nt then that injecter needs to be replaced. If loopsening the line makes it stumble then go to anther injecter line until you find the one that has no effect on the way it runs, that will be the injecter that needs replaceing.

Why does the car turn over but doesn't start?

There are numerous reasons for a no start situation. The most common are lack of fuel and lack of spark to the spark plugs. You need to have someone diagnose what is missing and have it repaired. Could be a fuel pump/filter/wiring/crank sensor/ignition coil/ missing power supply/ etc

If the transmission is not shifting, could it be the vaccum modulator?

when was the last time the tranny had a new filter put in with new fluid? if the vacuum module was bad, it would suck all the tranny fluid out of the tranny and into the engine from vacuum and you would be smoking out the tail pipe..
