During software update N73, the phone does not switch on. what can i do????

reset your phone using three finger method
follow this instruction :

Turns off the phone
Press simultaneously on the green/talk, 3 and* keys and hold the 3 keys.
Turn on your phone
Wait for the onscreen Format message then can release the three keys
This method may also work for Nokia phones that won't turn on.
Note that before making a reset on Nokia's latest phone
using the *#7370# or the 3 finger method, better make a backup, as you will automatically delete important data:
The license for pre-loaded contents (music, video, maps,etc..)

Sluggish/slow/memory full n73 solution

My n73 had all kinds of problems like being really slow or unable to open some programs, screen freezes, and stuff like that. This usually means that the phone memory is full of junk that can't be removed and/or viruses. To completely rid yourself of that problem, try hard formatting the n73.

To format
  1. turn phone off.
  2. hold the following keys WHILE its turning back on: (3 + * + green call key)
  3. do not let go until it asks you about your location
Your phone will gain 44mb back and go back to normal. Phone will respond a lot faster too, as if it were new. Viruses would be deleted as well as other junk stuffed inside.

Important reminder:

If you have anything stored on the phone memory that you woudn't want to delete, such as pictures, videos, or whatever, back it up to your memory card or computer. The format process deletes all stored memory on the phone, but not the memory card.

My N73 is very slow. What is the remedy?

May be too many apps running in the background?
A factory reset will definitely help but do a backup before you reset.

Hi,
This problem Arises When your Phone memory(C:\ Drive) Is almost Full .normally C: Drive Has 44.4MB Space. But When it goes below 500KB,it shows
"memory low delete some data"
So delete unwanted files from phone memory using any Good File managers .One i suggest is Using "Xplore" An application for n73
Which can be downloaded Here

Or else use Phones inbuilt file manager to delete unwanted files from phone memory.

Cannot use the nokia pc suite on nokia n 73 it says memory is full even though my phone was on memory mode.and my phone was still 1.7gig free.

This is a common problem with this nokia. The actual phone memory (not the memory card) is full. Go to menue and then OPTIONS. Select MEMORY DETAILS and select the Phone Memory. If the phone has low memory, then try deleting some contents like Text, MMS, Emails..... and see if that helps. Also you can try doing a *#7780# to do a Reset if deleting the text and MMS did not work. It will reset your phone but does not delete your data

Memory full, delete some data

Step1 Perform a soft format of your phone by dialing *#7370# just as you would any other phone number. This will erase the contents of the phone's internal drive. Step2 Use a hard format only if absolutely necessary; this sequence will reset your phone back to its original factory settings. Step3 Turn your phone off. Step4 Hold down the green answer, * and 3 buttons. Step5 Switch the phone on without releasing the buttons. Step6 Release the buttons when "aFormattinga" appears on the screen.

Message are not deleting.

You might be looking at delivery reports they delete via the OPTIONS all at once or none at all.
If it's the contents of the msgs, move them to DRAFT, EDIT them to nothing or just blank then save them.
Then you should be able to delete them.
