Question about Delphi XM SKYFi2 1016211B1 Satellite Radio Receiver
When i have transfer programmes from sky+ to dvd recorder, or set up timer to tape from sky+ i get seconds delay on sound as the voices are not in line when they talk. is there a problem with sky+ or is my sony dvd recorder which is three years old.
I think you posted in the wrong location. Sky+ isn't the same thing as the SkyFi.
However, there seems to be lots of issues with recording to DVD and keeping sound in sync with video. I have no idea what the solution is.

It sounds like the unit is malfunctioning. I think I had display problems with my first Sanyo CRSR-10 radio. At that time, it was still under warranty, so I contacted Sanyo and had it replaced.
The new radio lasted a few months, but it eventually died with another problem -- it just loops the startup sequence (Sirius logo + beep) and never loads up to the tuner interface. Unfortunately, Sanyo only honors the warranty period of the original radio and since it had been over a year since I purchased the first radio, they would not replace the second malfunctioning radio.
If you explain your situation to Sirius, I'm sure they will transfer your subscription to a new radio -- it's relatively easy for them to do it. I think they just want to discourage frivolous subscription transfers (and hacking) but if you convince them that your old radio is dead, they should be able to do it.
