Question about Curtis Progressive Scan DVD Player 1056
The buttons on the players and on the remote are not working. If they do work one time it reads invalid key the next time it is used.

Sure that's easy, I read this in the manual:
(Page 18 - Progressive Scan Section)
All you have to do is:
1. Remove the disc in the DVD/VCR.
2. Press and hold the STOP button for 5 seconds before releasing it. (Note that this is the stop button which is physically on the player.)
And that should pull you out of Progressive Scan Mode.

put a dvd into player and let it play, than press stop, sysem show stop, than press stop again for 5 sec, and the LG screen will be back to tv screen.
