If you are using a high def tv and u want to play with hi def graphics, u must put the switch on the xbox av/component leads to HDTV, otherwise, standard def will be used. Check the tv input by using a dvd player or another input source to confirm it works. Good Luck.

Kate what did you plug the cables into I suspect it was a grey cable with a red , white and yellow plugs. If I am correct this cable should be plugged into the AV1 or AV2 input port of your television. Try changing the input source to AV1 or AV2 Check it is plugged to AV1 on the Television and not into Conponent input !

How do i fix the green screen on my JVC HD-55G466

I know it sounds stupid, but could you have pushed the input button on your remote, changing from say, input #1 where the cable or satellite is connected, to an input nothing is connected to? That would cause the screen to be either blue or green I think. It's worth checking. I've done it myself! Good luck! Hope you get it figured out soon. Bill

Hi everyone, Im new to this thread, but I have very high IT experience. However, I have a problem that I just cant figure out. My Dynex tv randomly started acting up. All my colors and channels are...

check the connection to your tcon board and main av board. if the connections are good one of these boards is more than likely bad. Google their part numbers and see if that board has a known issue

I have a Sharp LC-52-d64u tv and it wont turn on

I have this same tv... Have you played any video games on it cause the xbox360 makes the screen blank... Put an hdmi cable in you tv and connect it to your cable box or dish box... this might fix the problem

I replaced a bad hard drive , now I can't instll any OS. I get blue screen in the middle of a install. What do I need to do to install a OS?

Blue screens mean that there is a hardware issue. Disconnect all peripherals (usb, printers, etc) and try the install again. If you get another Blue screen, then there is an internal hardware error that would need to be addressed by a service technician. You can try re-seating all of the conponents (RAM, HD, etc) but this rarely helps.

Hd problem with xbox 360. works through SD but black screens on hd channel. i took xbox upto friends house who has 1080p tv but never changed the setting when i put back to my tv. would this be the problem...

Thats the problem sometimes the Xbox360 can change that by itself but in your case i think your best bet is changing it back with your friends HDTV. Also i would try hooking up the cables one more time on your tv but make sure you turn on your xbox after all the cables are connected. But its nothing major its a really easy fix. good luck and let me know if you still have the problem.

Use the "HD Selector" on the cable that plugs into your xbox360 and make sure it is pointing to "SD" and then turn on your xbox360. This should put the console in standard definition mode and allow you to see the picture on the screen. If this doe not work, check and make sure you are using the proper inputs on your tv and selecting those inputer accordingly.
