It sounds like your TV is not equipped with audio/video (A/V) jacks. Many older TVs don't have these. You need to get an RF modulator that will convert the A/V output of the DVD player into a Coaxial cable that you can plug into the back of your TV. I'm including a link to one at Radio-Shack.com. This one costs $27.49. You might be able to find a cheaper one at a discount store. You can also use an old VCR if you have one to do this conversion but the connections get a little bit tricky. Plug the A/V outputs of the DVD player into the A/V inputs of the VCR. You'll have to set up the VCR so it knows to use the A/V inputs. Some VCRs have and AUX setting for this. Then connect a coaxial cable from the VCR output to the TV input. You'll have to setup the VCR to send it output to a specific TV channel, usually channel 3 or 4. Then you'll have to set your TV to that channel. I hope this helps you out.

How do I hook up this DVD player to my 60 inch Westinghouse model #VR-6090Z ?

If your DVD player has HDMI, use it. If not, you'll need to buy a cord for it. Look on the back of the TV and the back of the DVD player. There should be colored connectors on each one. On the TV, it will be an input. On the DVD player, it'll be an output. There will be either 3 connectors or 5 connectors on the TV and DVD player. You'll need a cord with either 3 connectors on each end (red, white, yellow), or one with 5 (red, white, blue, green, red). Once you figure out which cord you'll need, buy it from any store that sells TVs and hook it up. The link below has pictures

I just bought a Westinghouse LED TV. When I hooked up my dual DVD/Video combo the picture is black and white. What did I hook up wrong??

It sounds like you may have connected the dvd/video combo to the wrong spot on the television. The yellow wire cannot be placed into the green hole. You'll get a picture but it will be in black and white. You can only connect these yellow, red, and white composite wires to a component input spot on this television in order to get a color picture.

They did not include the cables in the box bought from overstock Westinghouse 26" LCD HDTV SK-26H730S where can I get them?

Cheapest place to buy cables would be from monoprice.com

If you would like I can give you a list of suggested cables to use for the best picture/sound. I'd just need to know what the make and model of any other equipment you are trying to hook up to the TV is. i.e.

Sony DVD Player: DVP-D2700

Hooked up DVD player to 32" Westinghouse HDTV and now all dvd's are in black/white and fuzzy, along with only having 3 total channels! Help!

It sounds like something is shorting out do to an incorrect connection. Make sure you are matching the correct colors if using composite (RCA) or component cables. If you are using composite than hook the yellow for video and red and white for left and right audio. For component cables use the red blue and green for video instead of yellow and use the red and white from the composite cable for left and right audio leaving the yellow unplugged. You should have the cables coming from the DVD players output going to the TV's input. Select the same input on the TV that you have plugged into. If you are using coax cable through the DVD player if it has a tuner than you will need to change the TV to channel 3 or 4 depending on what the DVD is switched to. After you are done with the DVD player be sure to turn the power off so the cable can work properly. I am guessing here since I don't have much info to work with so I hope this helped you.

Westinghouse model WTV-11901 shuts off by itself

That is usually a bad power board, the TV can be turned on again after a while because the capacitors inside TV will discharge after some time. The part must be tested before replacement, as overheating can cause similar problems.
Try also leaving the TV unplugged from main overnight, and test the unit on a different AC socket.
