Question about Washing Machines
Hello, sounds to me that if you can manually move your timer to continue, and all works fine except this. I would say that the problem is in the timer contacts itself. Not knowing the sequence of operation on this particular dryer, I would highly suggest contacting the maker of this dryer with the model, serial, and product numbers and relay this information to them. I will look for a link for you, please stand by while I search: After reading over the problem, you have not given me a name or other info. Can you please get this for me so that you and I can work on a solution for you? Thank you, Sincerely, Shastalaker7

The timer is in charge of stopping the machine. The timer seems to be broken. To verify this Open the dryer door while its running and see if it goes off.
Then close the dryer door and see if it starts by itself without you pushing the start button. Its likely your push-to-start switch is bad.
Thanks for contacting Fixya.com
