Question about Frigidaire FEX831CS Top Load Stacked Washer/Dryer
There are guide wheels and a tensioner in the back that hold the drum steady and the belt tight. The bearings on these can dry out and start to make some very irritaing noises. Pull the unit out and take the back off. Turn the drum slowly by hand and you will probably be able to tell what is makeing the noise. Some light motor oil or sewing machine oil should fix your problem. While your there it would not hurt to get a few drops of oil on all of the rollers and the tensioner pulley.
