Don't know why you want to read the credits ;) but:

In the TV menu, you may have a choice of how the picture is displayed. These options may be called

1)dot by dot
2)stretch
3)super stretch and
a 4th that escapes me.

If you've got HD, switch it to dot-by-dot. If not, switch it to stretch.

My Sharp Aquos has this. Your's probably has something similar.

You may also have (on your remote), a button that says "display". Hit that and you get the options I've listed. If you use dot by dot, it will display full screen for hd programs but with black bars either only on the sides or all four sides, depending on the incoming program.

In all cases, you should get the full viewing picture, it just may not fill your whole TV screen.

There may be a third choice for you as well and that would be whether you choose to "zoom" in on the picture or not. Again, this depends on your controller whether it's there or in the tv menu itself. This is NOT the same as the cable menu. It's unique to your tv and is controlled by the TV remote and not the cable remote.

I have double text or text with shadows

Projection TV sets have two very common problems. One is convergence ( 3D/Warped video) the other is CRT fluid ( Dull Video). Below are more details for both items. Also, complete repair kits with instructions and repair support are avail from site such as www.TvRepairKits.com

Common Problem #1) Convergence has gone out

Projection TV sets need to have all three colors - RED - BLUE - GREEN - lined up correctly on the screen in order for the video to look normal. When its out of alignment the video will look 3D, wavy, distorted, etc. Most of the time you just need to adjust your convergence in the TV menu. If you cannot adjust it in the menu - then your convergence is broken and needs to be repaired.

This is a very common failure on these projection sets and a fairly simple DIY fix. All projection sets including Samsung, RCA, Sony, Philip Magnavox, Panasonic, Pioneer, Akai, GE, JVC, Toshiba, and others at some point will have the same problem.

Common Symptoms include....
  • Screen looks 3D
  • Colors don't line up
  • One or more colors can't be adjusted when using the convergence menu.
  • Screen is bowed or warped.
  • TV shuts off after powering on. The power light will blink. TV may also make a chirping noise.
Here are some pics of convergence problems.

What you will need to do is convergence. You can get a repair kit from TvRepairKits.com . It includes replacement parts, step by step instructions, support, etc.

Common Problem #2) CRT Fluid is Cloudy

Projection TV tubes have a liquid coolant that is used to keep them from overheating. After many years the coolant in the blue and green tubes will become cloudy and cause the screen to look dull, red/orange, etc. You may even see halos around images.

What you will need to do is replace the coolant and clean the crt. You can get a repair kit from TvRepairKits.com . It includes replacement coolant, step by step instructions, support, etc.

How do i get itunes without a credit card

Using a credit or debit card is the simplest way to create an iTunes Store account. However, not everyone has one of these cards. For this reason, Apple offers two alternatives to creating your iTunes Store account without a credit card. You can set up your iTunes account and begin purchasing and downloading your favorite music in only a few minutes.
1. Purchase an iTunes Gift Card. Most major retailers sell iTunes Gift Cards, but you can also order them online. The prepaid amount of the gift card is transferred to your iTunes Store account, which lets you access the funds to purchase music.

If you don't want to purchase an iTunes Gift Card, you can set up a free PayPal account instead. ITunes accepts PayPal as an alternative to credit cards and gift cards. Because you do not have a credit card, you will need a checking or savings account to set up a PayPal account (see Resources).

2. Open iTunes. Click "Store" on the top navigation bar. Select "Create Account." Click "Continue" at the welcome screen.

3. Read over the terms and conditions, then click "Continue" again. Enter your email address. This will be your Apple ID, used to log in to your iTunes Store account.

4. Enter a six-digit password, then enter it again for verification. Create a security question and answer. This is used to help recover your password in case you forget it. Click "Continue" to move on.

5. Scratch off the gray film on the back of your iTunes Gift card. Type the number in the iTunes Gift Cards "Code" box.

If you're using a PayPal account instead of an iTunes Gift card, check the box next to "PayPal" and click "Continue." A web browser window will open. Enter your PayPal account's user name and password and click "Log In." Then click "I Agree." This links your PayPal account with your iTunes store account. Click "Continue to iTunes Store."

6. Enter your full name, address and telephone number. Click "Continue." Your iTunes Store account is now created. You can begin shopping for your favorite music, movies or TV shows.

I hope you find it very helpful.
Thank you for choosing fixya.

How to zoom in on info

When TVs first appeared, they had an picture ratio of 4:3, which matched that of most movie screens at the time. Terrified of losing their business, movie studios struck back with "widescreen" films using 1.85:1 or 2.35:1 ratios. When widescreen TVs started appearing, they emulated those same ratios, but many TV shows (and some movies) were still in 4:3---and we were eventually left with a bit of a mess. Canny manufacturers, including LG, have solved the problem by allowing you to adjust the picture ratio on the TV to fit the program you're watching. If it's not set properly, however, your image will look distorted or cut off. A quick bit of troubleshooting can fix the problem easily.

  1. Press the "Menu" button on the remote and scroll down to the "Option" title (it should be second from the bottom ). Then select "Aspect Ratio." You should see a list of ratio options. You simply need to pick the one which fits the show you're watching.
  2. Choose the 4:3 ratio for older movies and TV programs. You should see a pair of bars on the left and right side of the screen. (That's okay: the bars keep the program in the same proportion in which it was filmed.)
  3. Select the 16:9 ratio for widescreen movies and for more recent shows to match their longer width. For some movies, you may see black bars and the top and bottom of the screen. Again, that allows the movie to be shown in the manner it was filmed.
  4. Pick "Set By Program" to automatically switch the LG TV between 4:3 and 16:9 to match whatever show is on at the time.
  5. Select "Horizon" to horizontally expand the image onscreen. It will fill the whole screen---eliminating the black bars to the left and the right---but it may look distorted.
  6. Use the "Zoom 1" option to zoom the image forward. That will eliminate the black bars at the top or the bottom of the screen, though you will cut off the edges of the image.
  7. Pick the "Zoom 2" button to select a midway point between "Horizon" and "Zoom 1." The picture is stretched, but not as much as with "Horizon," and fills the screen, but doesn't cut off as much as "Zoom 1."
  8. Use the "Cinema Zoom" button to enlarge the picture to fit the screen. This option allows you to adjust the proportion to your liking, rather than use the set proportions of the other aspect options.
  9. Exit the menu when you are done and watch your programming normally.

PlayVix Player Download

I am very sorry to inform you but you have been ripped off / had for a fool.

The player you mention is a widely known SCAM its is intended mainly for those who download illegal copies of movies etc.

It may also contain virus or other unwanted spyware.

I would strongly suggest that you FULLY scan your computer with a GOOD antivirus and also fully scan your computer with a good ANTISPYWARE application.

You should also watch your credit card statement for any unwanted charges etc as credit card fraud can be involved too.

You may also want to contact your credit card company to have the money returned.

You have just been given a very important lesson by some very nasty people about internet security.

Always check out software suppliers using other search engines etc.

I hope your system survives and that you do not suffer any card fraud.

I have a 57x500 Hitachi ultravision digital t,v,.....When we try to watch DVD Movies or vhs,the screen has the dark side bars on the side,,how do adjust the screen to make the movies fit on the screen so...

On your remote there should be a button that says "Aspect" or "Pic Size". Press thisuntil the video fills the screen. If you do not have the remote of don't have the original remote, this setting can be found by preesing the menu button on the tv, go down to video settings and it should be listed under "Aspect Ratio", change it untill the video fills the screen.
