Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
I have an HP Photosmart 8250 and I recently had to change the yellow ink cartridge. Well, ever since then, I get the message "Ink System Failure, refer to printer documentation". ERROR 0xc18a0001. Then it tells me to turn the printer off and on .. but it still doesn't work.
i have a problem with the hp photosmart 8230! im also getting the error message saying "ink system failure" i tried the tricks that worked for the other hp models but no luck, any ideas???
First can you tell me if you are using HP original inks or aftermarket ones? If you are using after market ones then the cartridges are the problem.
If on the other hand you are using genuine HP inks then you need to follow HP's recomendations and install the update patch..
