Hi,

Here are the various possible causes for the dishwasher not cleaning the dish properly, Please follow these steps to solve your issue..

First check for the junk and mold behind the filter screen and under the cover at the bottom of the dishwasher, if you find standing water that was not draining. Yuck! my conclusion is that it is grime and muck

Next, check for the clog in the water supply line from the pump on the bottom to the upper spray arm under the top rack
Try to have a quick look at the spray arm holes for any any obstructions... However on closer inspection, you may discover a small hole pointing sideways at each end of the spray arm. The spray from these holes propel the spray arm to rotate. Both could be blocked by a small ball of hair like substance. Try to use a needle to remove this and this may solve your issue

Next, if not enough water in being pumped to the center spray arm. you can see the water trickle upward to the upper nozzle...but it does not have enough pressure to properly function. try tapping the delivery tube that feeds this nozzle and the water pressure should jump imediately. So the problem lies either with the pump or maybe the impeller....for some reason the full flow of water is not making it to the lower spray arm

The problem may be due to not enough water to get the arm to spin. To test this just add a pan of water to the wash cycle and see if the arm spins. If it does then the problem may be with the water intake line. There is a screen at the connection where the intake line enters the dishwasher. So turn the supply valve off and disconnect the intake line and remove particles that may be traped in the screen. The cause of the particles is from the hot water tank that tend to accumulate a bit of corrosion on the bottom of tank. To remedy this just open the valve at the bottom of the hot water tank and drain it in a pan until the water is clear

Please leave me comment if you need further assistance
Else please accept this solution

If you know water is spraying out of the wand, the perhpas the wand is not rotating. You'll have to jump the door switch, and start the machine to check the wand operation

Check if you have at least 120 degree water temperature coming into the dishwasher. Check if the upper rack spray arm is turning during cycle. Does dishwasher sound normal, like you can hear strong water spray inside it?

msbcox -- Check for residue in the strainer under the lower washbar. Remove the lower dish rack. Strainer is under washbar. Sounds like it is not draining properly. Write back if you need more help. -- SWT

The dishes are not getting clean on the lower rack even after several washes. What can be done?? The top rack comes out clean. It almost seems that the water flow on the lower rack is limited. Something as...

The problem is hard water. There is a new product out called the dishwasher filtration system. It filters the water before it enters your dishwasher. It works amazing and has a money back guarantee. You will love the way your dishes look after the first load. It is also very affordable (like 70 bucks). Go to www.dishwasherfilter.com to find out more info.

Dishes not clean?

Check all the water jet orfices in the moving arm. Try cleaning without loading the top rack.

If cleans well, mostly the upper rack dishes not arranged properly.

I hope you are using the main wash detergents. Rinse aid is just to remove the stains after the main wash rinse.

The dish washer is taking ages to wash and it not clean ing dishes well

ok so If your dishwasher has worked fine in the past but, suddenly, your dishes aren't clean after the dishwasher completes all cycles:
1) Check your water heater's temperature dial to be sure it hasn't been changed recently.
2) Be sure dishes haven't prevented the detergent dispenser from opening properly during the wash cycles or kept the spray arms from turning, the lower arm from rising, or the spray from reaching the upper rack's dishes.
3) During the wash cycle, listen to the spray arm spinning inside. If it seems to be spinning poorly, clean out the spray holes in the spray arm(s) with a stiff piece of wire; wait for the machine to cool, and then remove the spray arm(s) by unscrewing the hub cap and lifting the arm(s) off

Upper rack is not cleaning. Greasy dishes on top seem that dishes are not being washed. Seems the upper water turning dispenser is not working, Bottom rack seems ok. I guess I only have half a dish washer...

Check the upper arm for free spinning, then remove the arm and check that the seam between the upper and lower halves has not split somewhere. Also check all the small holes for debris plugging. Run the machine in wash cycle for a little while with the upper arm off--that should flush out anything blocking the pipe up to the arm. If still nothing from the upper arm, tear down the lower arm assembly down to the deck while noting position of all parts removed. Clean the big screen at the bottom in white vinegar and hot water. Inspect the holes in the bottom for anything blocking them.

Dishes not clean

There may be a couple of solutions to your problem. First, if you are not rinsing the dishes thoroughly before loading, your sump area in the bottom of the machine will get clogged, thus preventing enough velocity to reach top rack. Second, and most likely, your water inlet valve (or solenoid valve) is restricting. You have a timed fill mode through the timer and if the valve is not opening fully, you do not get the proper rate of flow into the machine. Replace the valve and your problem will most likely be solved.
