The picture squeezes in the middle means horizontal deflection problem.

look for the capacitor in series with the yoke and replace the said

capacitor if resoldering the two pins and related components wont help.

the top dips down and the bottom rises up means vertical circuits

your problem might be replacing the vertical IC, if resoldering the

said IC wont work

the problem can be tackled one at a time, start with the horiz solution

then vertical later.

this could also be caused by a bad capacitor on the low voltage supply coming from the secondary side of the power supply.

all of these are just in one may need to replace parts if resoldering wont do.

all of these are if your TV is using CRT type if not post your TV

model and chassis number

work on these board first before convergence

you might be needing multimeter later

you might also see a bulge capacitor on that board

you might need to initially check for might be bulge capacitor here on these area
    just a visual look

and if your still having problem with convergence that would be another circuit.

if you can post or send an image of the TV you are having problem with maybe this would

clarify the problem you are having.

you maybe working on about four ( 4) circuits. you might be needing at least 30W soldering iron,

a good soldering lead, a good visual and a lot of patience.

if you feel you can do soldering and measuring voltages then these might help a lot,

even an analog multimeter will help.

please be careful on the flyback area., you might need to unplugged the unit first before

having a visual inspection and look.

if your only problem is topping down, and rising of the bottom as you have mentioned

then it might be in these area

the vertical output IC can be IF 001 TDA 8177F

it is mounted on the aluminum heatsink, try resoldering it first

might need to replace the IC and the capacitors near it if it doesn't help

    it may look like these

might as well include these part when resoldering ,

this one is a sign of bad capacitor

Samsung TSL2793HF - Slight Right Side Pincushion and Horz Line Bottom to Top Until the TV Warms up

Yes, this is rare but I have seen it before--not fixable if it is what I think it is----It is what is called a Dome effect---the shadow mask in the picture tube is actually contracting and or expanding depending on temperature---

Directly behind the phosphor coating (the stripes that you see on the screen) is a metal screen--the holes or perforations in it line up with the stripes on the phosphor screen.

Some masks either have a material or a defect causing the dome effect----Not likely to be anything else---a Pin amp problem will not usually act the way you describe but a shadow mask inside the picture tube will act exactly that way.

How to remove door mirror cover from 2009 ford focus

There are 7 tabs holding the mirror cover on three along the bottom ,two just below the horizontal middle line and two at the top.Squeezing the bottom corner near the car towards the outside of the mirror and pulling gently forward will release the weakest clip at the bottom. The other two bottom ones poke vertically down, the middle two hook over their slot with the hook facing down.Lifting the bottom edge of the mirror cover will help release these. As in the manual push the mirror back along the bottom edge to get some access at the top then using a thin screwdriver push down on two black clips at the left and right upper side edges of the top of the mirror try at the same time to lift the mirror cover up and towards the back of the car to release the remaining bottom and middle clips.Have a look at night with a torch and you may be able to see what is going on with the top two clips. Be careful not to apply too much pressure and break the clips.
I have taken pictures which I will try to post on another site.
Most mechanics were useless in explaining how to do this but I finally found one who could.

Need help with my TV kp-51ws510. big screen the picture looks like someone squished the top and bottom of the screen. It dip down in the middle frow the top to the bottom.

The vertical scan amplifiers are loosing gain. This is usually caused by aging capacitors, and sometimes other types of components.

Because of the age of the set, it is possible that after servicing the fault the chance of having other component failures is high.

Image is totally distorted

Did you also replace the bias resistors required when you converted from STK392-110 to the higher STK392-xxx modules? If I wer you I would go back to the orginal modules only new ones. Then I would also get a schematic to test the voltage levels on the chips to make sure they are the same as on the schematic.
