Pushing down on the lever on the right downshifts, while clicking it up upshifts. On the left, it is opposite; down-clicking upshifts and clicking up downshifts.

What year was the trek 7200 multitrack women's bike with serial # itk2c13206 manufactured? It also says Alpha custom on it

The 720 was called a Multitrack but the 7200 generally was just referred to as a hybrid. This link may help - just do a search for your model and then look for the correct color scheme. BikePedia

Where can I find a manual for a Falcon adventurer bike? I haven't ridden it for a few years and can't remember how to work the gears

It means its an 18 speed bike. The shifting is easy. Start with the left side, begin riding, keep pedaling, don't stop pedaling in ther middle of a shift, it will throw the chain. As you ride, twist the shift grip, up and back. Still pedaling? Now after you have tried that one, try the other side, its the rear with 6 gears. Up and back, keep pedaling. After you have tried each individually, try them together. And now you're shifting. Looking good
. KEEP Pedaling

How do i tighten my slack chain on my trek 69er i am not sure how to do this

It's the rear derailleur's job to take up or provide the proper chain tension as you shift to different gear combinations. It has limits.

It may not be malfunctioning.

Using the large front chainring and the largets cog in the back can pull up too much chain; using the smallest chainring in the front and the smallest cogs in the back can let out more chain than it can control.

The 'extreme' opposite combinations are mechanically unsound and unnecessary to use as there are other combinations of rings and cogs that will yield the same mechanical advantages while keeping the chainline straighter, tighter and not stressing the chain sideways.

Google "how to shift gears on a bike" for vids and textsplanations.

If there is a mechanical issue, see this...

Does not shift into all the right gears

That's too bad, it's much more fun to ride a bike that works properly.

I would suggest taking into your local bike shop, they can quickly and easily assess the reason for your shifting not working (there are many) and provide a solution. Some are so easy that no expense will be incurred, others are more complicated and will have costs. Either way, you will have the satisfaction that it is done correctly and you can enjoy your riding safely.

What is the difference between a normal bike and a bmx bike?

A BMX is more like a piece of sports equipment, it's mostly ridden standing up and not really used for transportation. A normal bike can be ridden while seated and isn't good for tricks and jumps.

Instructions for using gears on 12 speed Mesa runner

Not familiar with the exact model of bike but normally you start riding in a low gear. As you wish to speed up or find it easy to push the pedals just change up in gear and keep pedaling and the gear chain will move to the next gear cog. The secret is to keep pedaling when you select a gear either up or down and the gear will change. Hope this is of benifit.
