Driver problem

Hi i ganesh I am using compaq 3611AU . if i opened My computer there is no icon of cd-rom. i cant use any CD or DVD in my computer if cd is inserted in CD-RW drive light is blinking. Give a solution to find DVD-RAM Drive in my computer. i checked cd drive in BIOS I cant find it can you help me
