Unplug the printer from power cord.Press and hold the "menu" button, then plug the device. You'll see on the LCD screen a "machine error" code.If this code is 40,41,49 or 4F the print head is defective. If the error is 48 -defective print head cable or circuit board. If the error is 50 or 51 there is error in Purge unit and printer require service. If the error is 46 the waste ink tank is full.Follow this:
Enter 80, then scroll down with the arrow down (round) key. You'll find an entry listed as purge count. If number is over 6000, enter 2 7 8 3.This will reset the purge count value. Then restart the printer, hopefully without the annoying cannot clean message.

I need to know why it takes 2 hours to shred enough papers before filling the catch box?It continually keeps stopping due to overheating. I am not using 14 sheets at a time because it can't handle it!

Manufacturers are often over-optimistic when describing their products.

Shredding paper creates quite a lot of dust that tends to clog up the works of the machine. They start off ok but soon start to slow down and lose power that can be restored by cleaning and lubricating the mechanism with something like a silicone spray or a dry lubricant.

The older the machine is, the more often it will need servicing to maintain peak performance. It is possible the thermal breaker in your machine is a little tired and very likely it isn't receiving enough cooling air to the motor - perhaps some vents need clearing or modifying.

Looks like its asking for oil? what do I do?

After shredding for 500 times, MAINTAIN will blink for maintenance. Oil the shredder using a lubricant specifically designed for that purpose. When that step has been completed, hold the MAINTAIN button for three seconds to release the setting and return the LCD display to AUTO after maintenance.

R. Hearing aid has died for the 5th time. Purchased through HearX.

RIC instruments are quite delicate, the receivers often fail, however it is a quick fix to replace them. Have you tried a drying kit, a drying kit is essential to maintain RIC or RITE instruments particularly during the summer months. Go back, get the receivers changed and ask for a drying kit.

Heater starts and runs for a short time and them quits!! Have cleaned all the filters nozzle and checked photo cell alignment. Seems as thought the flame is not 100% when it quits, possible photo cell...

What you are describing sounds more like a lazy fuel pump. When starting it, there is excessive fuel in the chamber to start with. Once this burns off, the pump can't maintain the same level of combustion.Another cause might be with a plugged up injector nozzle.

Screen says unable to clean, refer to maintainence manual.. i dont have the manual any more, what is the maintainence required?? thanks for any help...Kim

If google and manufacturer website are of no help then ask a search agency like http://manualfox.com - They do a great job.
The service is not for free, but often worthy (you only pay if they find what you are asking for).

The Haynes Shop manuals are God sends. www.haynes.com They have everything you need and then some to be able to tear down and rebuild your bike and maintain it through the years. tend to be about $40 but are worth hundreds if you ask me.

Battery Maintenance

Follow these guidelines every three to six months to extend the life of your low-maintenance Interstate battery: 1) Maintain Water Level. If your battery has removable vent caps, you should regularly check the water level and add water when it is low. 2) Keep Terminals Clean. Visually inspect the terminals and cables at least once a year, especially in hot temperatures, for signs of corrosion. If dirty or corroded, clean the connections with a scraper and wire brush. This will ensure a good connection and proper starting. 3) Keep Case Clean. Keep the top of the battery clean of heavy dirt and oil with a cloth dampened by ammonia or a 50/50 solution of baking soda and water. Then rinse with clear water and allow to thoroughly dry. 4) Keep Battery Charged. If your vehicle is not driven weekly, it may be necessary to charge your battery before use. Lack of use is hard on a battery, especially an automotive battery which is designed to be charged regularly by an alternator. Any unused battery, regardless of its chemistry, will self-discharge over time and, if allowed to remain discharged, will undergo severe positive grid corrosion and battery failure. The rate of discharge depends on the type of battery and the storage temperature. So, it's important to keep your battery charged. If you prefer that your mechanic take care of your battery, be sure to ask him to maintain the water level and to keep the connections and case clean of corrosion and dirt.
