I have a DeWalt D25114K XE. When the drill is on

I have a DeWalt D25114K XE. When the drill is on hammer mode the chuck seems to spin ok but when I drill into masonry, the chuck seems to wobble. Still drills a straight hole but just concerned the chuck is damaged or i haven't fitted it properly

Dewalt hammer drill chuck won't turn model DCD985

Make sure the speed selector lever on the top of the tool is all the way in gear, and the dial selector on the tool is in drill or hammer drill mode. If in screw mode make sure it's set to a level that it won't "clutch" out.

The chuck on my old dewalt reversing drill unscrews itself from the drill body when used in reverse mode.

You are more than likely missing the chuck retaining screw. If you give me the model number I will get you a part number and info on how to order. It is a left hand screw.

How do I remove the chuck on my dewalt 18 volt xrp hammer drill

Remove the REVERSE-THREAD screw at the bottom of the chuck. Set the clutch collar to the highest setting, and set the gear to the slowest setting. Remove the battery! Get the biggest allen wrench you can fit in the end of the chuck(the shortest leg) and tighten the chuck down around it, allowing the jaws to rest and tighten on the flats of the wrench. Lay the drill on its side(chuck toward you, handle to the left, and allen wrench to the left, horizontal to the deck. Then with a hammer(soft hammer if you care about the allen wrench) quickly and deliberately hit the allen wrench in an attempt to cause the allen wrench to spin counter clockwise. Let me know if this works for you, and if not, explain what is happening.

Remove c keyless chuck from 18v dewalt drill

There is no loctite on the chuck threads, only blue loctite on the reverse screw. This is how I remove chucks.

Remove the REVERSE-THREAD screw at the bottom of the chuck. Set the clutch collar to the highest setting, and set the gear to the slowest setting on the transmission. Remove the power source! Get the biggest allen wrench you can fit in the end of the chuck(the shortest leg) and tighten the chuck down around it, allowing the jaws to rest and tighten on the flats of the wrench. Lay the drill on its side(chuck toward you, handle to the left, and allen wrench to the left, horizontal to the deck). How do I fit drill in this machine please? DEWALT D25113K D25113 3 MODE SDS

Youcan only use standard drill bits with the use of a chuck attachment with the SDS type bayonet. These hammer drills use an SDS type drill bit which just pushes into the fitted chuck and are released by pulling back on the lock mechanism on the chuck.

I have a DCD940KX 18v Dewalt drill driver with the one click drill chuck. It does not keep drill bits or screwdriver bits from spinning. They spin with the slightest bit of pressure on them. My questions...

this is not a common problem with dewalt. I have been using them in my construction business for years and only heard of this once or twice. I would go to their web site and get the number for their customer service. They stand behind their products and im sure they will help in every way they can to repair the drill
