Question about Audio Players & Recorders
Try to reset the unit by either pressing on a reset button / hole if it has one or take out the batteries and wait 5 minutes, place them back in and try to turn it on again. What you could also do if the player is detected by the computer but it won't turn on is try to update its firmware, the firmware update instructions are here http://www.memorex.com/PageFiles/1004/Mmp9390_Mmp9490_Firmware_Upgrade_Procedure%5B1%5D.pdf pdf reader required to open the document http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/reader/ and the firmware itself is here http://www.memorex.com/PageFiles/1004/Mmp9390_Mmp9490_V019.rar Winrar required to open the container. http://download.cnet.com/WinRAR-32-bit/3000-2250_4-10007677.html If your unit is completely dead and it does not react at all, to anything and is not picked up by the computer. The battery has power or it doesn't react to the charger or replacing the batteries with new ones. Then your unit seems to be faulty, contact your dealer for a replacement or repair, it sounds like the unit is brand new? I'm sure they will replace it right away. Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks, Ekse
