Dongle won't connect

I bought a gigaware usa-b to serial connector to connect my smartRF04EB board to my dell laptop. However the dongle won't connect and I'm not sure how to get it to. All of the hardware is connected properly and the driver for the gigaware connector has been installed.

I have a CC2430EM module attached to the smartboard. I'm using the USB connector to power the smartboard rather than a 9V battery.

How Can I connect my wireless Logitech mouse to my laptop?

You should search for small wireless USB dongle (receiver) and insert it into USB port of your laptop. You bought The dongle with mouse. Sometimes it is placed inside mouse on bottom side. See picture.

A mouse driver is usually installed automatically in a while after the dongle is connected to PC.

Bought dongle E173 works on dell computer Xpworks on laptop windows 7 but wont install on PC Specialist windows XP why ????

Hi there! If the E173 worked with your windows 7 then that means the E173 is working properly, try to check first if the PC specialist windows XP computer can detect the dongle if not then try to use a different USB port now if is detected but won't install try to find it in the drive go to my computer then look for the removable disk or the e173 then manually install it but if after trying different USB ports and the dongle is still not being detected then check if it is compatible with that computer or you can try to use another USB device to check if the ports are working properly.

Hope this helps!

I was just given a 180e embroidery machine ( I am a total novice) and I am not sure how to connect the dongle and get designs that are in my computer. Thank you so much cat

I am not exactly sure of this particular model. But the dongle should just plug into the computers port on the back of the computer.

The BIOS password is removed by the BIOS configuration, you need the BIOS password to get into the BIOS configuration. But if you do not have the BIOS password then you need to construct this dongle device.
TOSHIBA BIOS PASSWORD DONGLE
You can build a dongle that plugs into the printer port.Purchase a 25 pin male D sub connector and solder insulated wires to the various pins as listed below. The pins are numbered on the connector
http://www.tilman.de/sonstiges/toshiba/dongle1.jpg this is a picture of the finished dongle

Wire the pins as follows :-1-5-10, 2-11, 3-17, 4-12, 6-16, 7-13, 8-14, 9-15
Plug the finished dongle in the printer port and power up the laptop. The password will be reset, go into the BIOS configuration to check the BIOS password, you may have to disable the BIOS password.
Or ring up local Toshiba Agent prove it is your, a receipt etc, and they will give you a special code to unlock.

Aspire

To connect to a basic wireless network (WAN) you need to have a 802.11g (or n) network adapter, I would assume that this is located inside the laptop already (99% of new laptops come with a wireless adapter installed). You should not need a dongle.

keyboard stop responding in game Intermittently I have a ideazon merc stealth keyboard. I use it for gaming and have not had any issues with it until recently. The problem started about 2 weeks ago when I launched the game Americas army. When I launched the game I didnt notice any thing unusual. But when I started to play the game my keyboard's backlighting began to flash and flicker. When the keyboard began to flash and flicker I lost all controll of my character. It did this intermittedly and without a logical pattern. The amount of time the keys went out was anywhere from 1 second to 3 seconds ata time and the interval is any where from 3 times every second to 10 times in a few seconds and continuosly repeating but in no logical pattern. I closed americas army and played sevweral other games with no problems. I then prceeded to launch call of duty 5 world at war. It did the same thing in the multiplayer but not in the single player or co-op modes. It has been doing this for 2 weeks now and it only does it when I play americas army online or call of duty 5 world at war in multiplayer mode. No other games seem to reproduce this issue. I have uninstalled and cleaned my programs and drivers folder and reinstalled the latest drivrs and software and have updated everything. I have disabled the MM drivers for it and that seemed to help for about 2 games. I have unistalled my .net frameworks and reinstalled them. and I tried with the .net framework uninstalled. I have reformatted my hard drive and have a clean install. I have even gone so far as to uninstall the sp3 service pack. I dont know what to do next.
