I had a similar problem, and the only thing tht worked was to use the password 00000000
(that is 8 zeros). With this you can reset whatever you need to. Hope it helps.

I have a new memory card and can't read on my mobile but read in others mobiles..and its type micro SD ?

Please format the memory card So:

Delete some unnecessary files in your phone memory like images and videos. Go to your phone gallery and delete some of those. And if you want to use the memory card as phone message storage then go to Messaging - Option - Settings - Other and then Memory in Use, select your memory card.

But if your phone is infected with a virus then you need to format your phone. One sign of infection is your phone keep sending a message randomly from your contacts without your consent.

Use these code and enter it to format your phone:
*#7370# and then the default code is 12345

Take note: Make sure you back-up your contacts or any other important inside your phone.

Hope I make it clear and does makes sense

Recover pictures from Samsung Smart phone?

Definitely Yes! First of all, you should stop saving any new files to your Samsung smart phone (or SD card) or taking new pictures.

Then find some photo recovery software from this site Best Computer Software, which are able to recover deleted or formatted photos from cell phone, digital camera, memory card and SD card etc.

Digital Photo Recovery for Windows

Digital Photo Recovery for Mac OS X

Here are the steps:

Step 1: Download and install the Digital Photo Recovery Software.

Step 2: Connect your Samsung smart phone (or SD card, memory card etc) to your PC or Mac.

Step 3: Scan the source drive where your lost pictures located.

Step 4: Recover the lost pictures and save them to another drive instead of the source drive.

You can recover lost photos from memory card of your digital camera with this
1. Do not save any new photos into the memory card of your camera.
2. Insert the memory card into a card reader. Connect it with computer. You should see memory card shown as a drive letter (like H:) in My Computer.
3. Download recovery software, recommended one is Tenorshare Data Recovery (simply because i was using it and it worked)
http://www.any-data-recovery.com/product/datarecoverystandard.htm
4. Install and open the program, select your memory drive, and click 'Start' button to start scanning process which will find your lost photos.

I forgot my password to my samsung magnet cellphone and need it to reset the password. help!!

solution 1:

put the memory card in your mobile and connect it to the pc and take a backup of the data and then format the memory card .
or use java application to recover the password

solution 2
For S60 1st and 2nd Phones
What should we do if we forget the password? For S60 1st and some of 2nd phones, such as Nokia 3650, Nokia 6600 and Nokia N-Gage, the password is stored in a plain text file.
  • Firstly, you need to install FExplorer, a free file manager that allows us to browser through S60 file system.
  • Next, launch FExplorer and then browser to c:\system folder. There is a file, called mmcstore.
  • Rename the file to mmcstore.txt and then open it. Your password must be several characters at the end of the file.
For S60 3rd Phones, Nokia N-Series and Nokia E-Series
Unfortunately, there is no way to recover the password in the latest S60 phones. The only way that I know so far is by reformatting the memory card. It can be done from Memory Card application by selecting Options | Format memory card menu. Of course, you will lose all your data in the memory card… icon_sad.gif
If any of you have experience unlocking password of memory card in latest S60 phones, feel free to share it here.
Compatible devices: S60 1st, 2nd, 3rd Edition, Nokia Nseries, Nokia Eseries.
Update (27-Mar-07): I have written another posting about password-protected memory card on Another Tip for Password-protected Memory Card. This mostly applies to Nokia Eseries.

you have to download the fexplorer -java application using your mobile .
