Your camera for the DV6000 series is rn with software from Cyberlink, the name of the software is Youcam. It should be installed on your system, look in the program files for it. Click on Youcam and it will come up, activate the camera and give you a tutorial of how to connect. If there is a chance that you do not have this factory installed software in your system, the link to the software is below. Click on the link scroll down and you will see the downloads for it.

My guess would be the lid switch that is activated by closing the lid/ door. Pretty easy fix. Go to partselect.com & put in your model #. They have fix-it videos & instructions.

WONT SPIN ?

There is a switch..(interlock) that activates when the lid is open or closed...not allowing the unit to go into spin if the lid is open. It may be that the machine thinks the lid is open. The switch could be dirty or broken or loose. There is a little leg sticking out from the underside of the lid, that goes into a slot on the machine when the lid is closed, that activates the switch. Make sure this all looks good, (no obstructions or debris in the slot) and the leg goes all the way into the slot (lid closes all the way).
You should see a little plastic lever in the slot that the leg on the lid will contact when you close it. If it is there and unobstructed, try gently pushing down on with your finger or the back of a pencil or something, until you hear a faint click (switch). It should spring back into position when you release. Its a quick and easy check. Good luck.

My D40 rolled off my couch and broke my flash. After watching a video, I opened up the flash and got the flash working, but now the flash won't pop up... After messing with multiple pieces (while reading...

Check to make sure the flash up switch on the side of the flash (the switch you see where the wires go through when you remove the flash top) is not under the activation rod on the pivot, the pivot is not pushed in, or the activation rod is not broken off. The switch should close when the flash goes up and be open when it is down. A lot of times you see the top contact stuck under the activation rod. Also check the continuity of the two thin switch wires as sometimes they are borken inside by impact

My washer will work on everything except the spin cylcle...it will not drain the water out. Please help....don't know what to do

Replace the defective lid switch,it is under the control console. their are screws in the back of each end cap securing the control panel to the top. Also make sure the screws holding the left side hinge to the lid are tight because they also move the arm that activates the lid switch. very easy repair Good Luck

I have a whirlpool Ultimate Care II

I followed this with my washer and it worked out to be a quick easy fix!! I did it a little differernt... I undid the two screws holding in the switch and slid the swith out. Next I simply put a ZIP tie around the body of the switch to prevent it from seperating then, returned the switch into place!!! Thanks to the original poster for giving me the idea of what to look for!!!

Kenmore washer model # 110 10502991 stops at the drain cycle, does not drain or spin. just completely turns off. what could this be and is it easy and cheap to fix? thank you!

Check your lid switch.

If the washer fills and doesn't do anything, or stops right after the wash cycle and then does not advance to the rinse cycle and drain, this is commonly caused by a lid switch malfunction. The lid switch is usually mounted under the washer top casing, on the right hand side on most top load models. It is activated by a plastic piece on the lid (called a "Lid Strike") through a small hole on the rim of the wash tub opening. In many cases the lid strike breaks off the lid, or the lid switch becomes loose and no longer makes contact. Inspect the lid to make sure the lid strike is still intact, and then inspect the mounting screws (adjacent to the small opening on the wash tub rim) and make sure they are snug.

If the switch is not activated by a lid strike, it will activated by a hinge actuator located next to either the left or right lid hinge. You will need to remove the operator console in order to access this type of switch.

If you determine the switch to be defective, the following link explains how to replace one:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r385198-replacing_lid_switch

A new lid switch (if needed) can be purchased on line at searspartsdirect.com, pcappliancerepair.com, repairclinic.com, appliancepartspros.com. All these sites offer competitive pricing, so shop all of them for the best price.

This is a very simple repair, that usually costs about $25 to $35 to repair yourself. If you have questions, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

Not working properly

This should be a simple and inexpensive fix. I would recommend checking your lid switch.

If not activated by a lid strike, other models have the lid switch located under the washer casing next to one of the lid hinges. It is activated by a rod contacting an actuator. The mounting scews for this type are located under the operator console.

If you determine the switch to be defective, the following link explains how to access the washer interior and replace one:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r385198-replacing_lid_switch

If the switch requires replacement, a new one can be purchased on line at appliancepartspros.com, searspartsdirect.com, pcappliancerepair.com, or repairclinic.com.

If you need further assistance, please post back with a complete model number so that I may be able to assist you better. I hope this helps you.
