Locate the smart/learn button on the rear of the motor unit near where all those white wires go. Press and immediately release it and then walk over to your keypad and key in any 4 digit code you like and press enter.

Reset garage door code

Hi, The opener, remotes and keypads have a set of dip switches that you can use to change the code. You will find the switches when you open the remotes and keypad and are in the back cover ( depending on the model) of the opener itself. Make sure that the codes of all the switches are set exactly the same. If you need additional help let me know! Good Luck.

Change keyless entry passcode for chamberlain model 4100 door opener

You have to press a Yellow/Purple button on the back of the garage door opener unit.
It is the LEARN button. Then enter a new four digit code into the keypad and press the enter button.
The unit should click and the lights should flash. This acknowledges it has learned the new code.
