Is the CH 3 on the remote already being use?
GRAY WIRE - 3rd channel output (-) 500mA.
Connect to a relay for optional trunk release etc.
(See Relay Wiring Diagrams)
4th wire from the left.
Once again a relay and an in-line fuse must be use.
*************
IMPORTANT:
BW-852 use negative lead output.
Make sure the relay positive is lead is to the pos battery terminal and fuse protected.
The negative terminal of the relay to the control wire.
I strongly suggest you to study the relay diagram before you start making any connection.
====
You should use the same brand and same model relay as your horn portion of your project.
Make a sketch of what you added so you can use it reference.
=====
What you asking for is call an AND GATE condition.
Two relays output in series
one relay driven by the dome wire and one driven by button #3 wire
I do not think you need this kind of setting.
A simply button #3 trunk opening should do the job.
I'm going to assume you are worry about accidentally press the button #3 and open the hatch release.
This is a good point.
A lot of folks does put their remote key fob in the purse or pocket and prematurely drain the remote battery!
===
I recommend my clients to leave the remote hang outside of the purse or pocket so you will not accidentally trigger it.
Plus in event of emergency,you can press emergency button (#4) without the need to open the bag and look for the remote.
===
To accomplish your dome on / latch circuit #3 enable you will need two relays.
Just Google for AND logic gate circuit and make sure you understand it before you start.
It's real simple.
Both dome relay (addition to the existing relay) "AND" the circuit #3 relay (you are about to install) has to be energized in order for the latch to pop.
===
I will approach this project in steps.
Install the relay circuit #3 latch relay per Blackwidow instruction.
Monitor how frequent you or your family member accidentally open the latch by mistake.
Add the 2nd dome relay,AFTER you get a good understanding how "AND" circuit works.
