Pioneer HD3 (UK) Navi Problems

I recently got this installed in my car and am having problems with the navigation, when I am navigating the map shows my precise location however when I attempt to do an address search or postal code search, the unit only comes up with German/European street names and postal codes beginning with numbers (NON UK). Please help !!!

Pioneer avic n1 video by pass but now doesnt work when i upgraded w n3 disc

I am pretty sure that pioneer does this so you cant bypass it. The n1, you just have to ground the parking brake wire, the n2 you have to solder the 2 points together under the piece of tape, the n3 you have to move over the switch on the side of the unit. Which all of these void your warranty anyway but I think that is why people eventually downgrade the the old dvds.
