Yes. Dishwashers do that to lead crystal glass.
It's irreversible and is caused by microscopic surface cracks in the glass; dishwasher manufacturers generally advise against washing lead crystal for that very reason.
You can get "glass friendly" dishwasher tablets/powder but it's more expensive and only slows the rate at which lead crystal will cloud.
