In the recording mode, press [MENU]. On the "Set Up" tab, select "Timestamp" and press cursor-right. Use cursor-up/down to select "Off" and press [SET].

This is in the "Date Stamping Snapshots" section of the manual (page 141 in my copy). If you need a manual, you can download a copy from the manufacturer's web site at

How do I change the date on my exilim EX-S6

The option to change the date and time only comes up when you first start up your camera. To make this option show up again you have to remove the battery from the phone for a few minutes, then put it back in and turn your camera on and the options to change the language and date should be up on the screen.

To remove the date/time stamp from your photos, you will have to either crop (cut) it out or use a Photo editing program to remove the date. Good photo editing programs are Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro amoung others.

CAMERA WANTS TO RESET TIME DATE INFORMATION

If you have a memory card installed take that out before powering on.
If your screen is frozen then you would have to send it into repairs to have that fixed.

Set date and time comes up every time i turn on camera

Try resetting your camera. In picture taking mode press menu. Go to setup, go up to reset, press right arrow, make sure reset is highlighted and press set.

Then TAKE OUT MEMORY CARD. Go back into menu, go to setup, go up to format, press right arrow and highlight format, press set. Input ur date and time again and then power off and back on. If that doesn't help then you have to send into repairs. 800-706-2534 and keep choosing option 2 and they will tell you where to send it.

with the Casio Z45 they seemed to have a similar problem and suggested that you format the internal flash memory.

Remove Card
Turn on camera
Set Date etc
Format Memory and turn off.

It didnt work for me, but you may have more success!

I Have to Reset The Date an Time Everytime I turn the camera on

The following is from the manual which you can download on the link below: http://world.casio.com/qv/download/en/manual/ So it seems that you must either keep the battery charged or leave the camera connected to the USB dock (with PC on)! If your camera is not keeping the time for the 30 hours stated then it's probably time for a new battery.
