Question about Lexmark X2500 All-In-One Printer

Printer only prints one page at a time. I un-installed the printer and loaded it back up but that only solved the issue for about th first 3 prints. Now its back to the same issue of printing one page at a time and keep needing to redo the whole print process again.

Uninstall disable antivirus and reinstall if your running vista there i probably a patch you will need at lexmark.com

Installed new ink. it says out of alenment


Dennis: According to an old FixYa.com, urbanhookupz said: "You need to run a printer alignment page like you do when you put in new cartridges.

unplug your printer plug it back in.
open door and take out print ink cartridges.
put them back in and then close the door.

It should now prompt you to do a test alignment page.

now try and print it should solve the problem.

Print job goes to print queue but does not print


Un install the drivers.
Connect through usb cable observe system recognised the printer?.. if recognised, reload the drivers & chk for the prints.. if not issue with formatter..
Insert net work patch cable., print configuration page., verify the ip address., load the drivers as network printer., chk for the prints., if not printing., ping ip from system... chk withnamother cable.., fotmatter issue..

Solution for printer


* Does the same issue persists while printing from all applications?

* Does the unit print the self test page properly? Steps are given below
* Make sure the printer is loaded with unused white paper.
* Press and hold Cancel on the printer control panel.
* Press Start Color Copy .
* Release both buttons. The self-test page prints.

Printer not printing text


When printing a web page which has only 5 lines of text, the printer prints the 5 lines and scrolls the page empty. But, I wanted the printer to stop printing after it has printed the available 5 lines. Also, it should not print the header and footer automatically.

Only one half of page prints.


My suggestion would be to totally un-install the printer and erase all traces of the driver(s). Search for them after the un-intall and erase them manually.

Re-install the printer and driver...reboot if nessasary...align the print heads...do a test pattern...then try and print your document. It might just be a corrupted driver...some would suggest just installing over the existing driver...but I've found doing it that way gives you the best chance of it working the first time.

Fairly new toner and display reads "Install black cardtricge"


I have just resolved the "Install black cartrige" issue on my printer I am not sure if it will solve everyone's problem but these are the steps I took to solve the problem.

1. removed the black cartrige.
2. removed all the paper from the tray and noticed that one of the pages was a little jammed.
3. I then turned the printer on and off again and still encountered the "Install black cartrige" error message.
4. I then put the black cartrige back in the the printer and restarted the printer.
5. When the printer restarted it started to initialize correctly and I perform some test prints to confirm that it was back up and running.

Xerox Phaser 7300DN will not collate


Try using the PCL driver from the Xerox website, rather than the Postscript one supplied with the printer.

I had the same problem and installing the PCL driver solved it.
