When printing all jobs are stopped.
It gives you the option of restarting or adding to the cue.

I was printing a document from my Windows computer onto my HP Officejet 5500 series all-in-one printer. I decided to cancel (on the printer); now I cannot restart the printer via the computer. What do I...

Hello there Bob,

The computer must have stored the print job to the queue and hanged. To totally cancel the print job, you can turn off the computer and the printer; make sure you have unplug the power cord of the printer from the power source. Wait for 5 minutes and plug everything back and restart the computer and the printer. This should give you a clean start again.

Please let me know how this goes. Thank you.

I am attempting to delete a print job on my psc 2210 but after waiting 12 hours it is still there blocking other print jobs I'd like to make. How can I delete this one?

Go to Start, Control Panel, Administrative Tools, then Services. Scroll down to Print Spooler. There are 2 selections on the left, Stop and Restart. Go ahead and hit Stop. Once it does, click delete on the printer screen to get rid of the unwanted document. Then click Restart to start the spooler again. This should work.

Installed HP PSC 2210 on my dell laptop and will not print or do anything

In some cases this steps works.

First check your printer status:

1. Turn Off your printer and unplug the printer Usb
2. Restart your computer
3. Go to Start Menu > Control Panel > Printers and
Faxes > open HP 2210 icon
4. If there's pending print jobs cancel them all
5. Then Turn-on your computer, plug-in Printer usb
6. go back to the Printers and Faxes (step 3)
7. Check the Printer status

( If the printer is still offline, check the Usb cable unplug and insert again ) ( the best thing is use another Usb cable for your printer if your printer is still in offline mode )

Second, check the model of your printer if you installed the right driver for it. If you don't have the CD driver, download it free in HP website:

copy this Url in your Internet browser.

there's a list of operating system here, choose where you want to install the driver.

I canceled a print job and it says it is deleting the job but will not delete, thus other jobs will not print...what can i do?

If you haven't tried restarting your computer, do that first.

If that didn't help try to restart your print spooler.

Click on your start button and then on Run.

Type services.msc and then OK. In the services window find Print Spooler.

Double click it to open, it should say started. Click stop, wait for it to stop, then click start again. This should clear out your job.

Job stuck in cue, won't delete. printer won't print

Have you tried restarting the print spooler?
What exactly is the version of you PC? WINXP, 2000, Vista?

If you are running on a Windows 2000 or Windows XP

1. You just need to click on START > CONTROL PANEL > Administrative Tools then Services

2. Inside Services window scroll down and look for print spooler

3. Click on stop the service and then after at least 5 seconds start the service

4. Restart your computer and check again if the print job is still there.

Hp psc 1410 cannot delete remote redirected print job

There is a option in printer box "Purge Print document" you try that option, After Purge then delete the document, which is still present in your box. At a time turn off the printer. All the pending printing commands will delete.
