Maybe sucking air in through a chemical valve (if it has one)
maybe new pump seals
a valve suck open in pump.
worn lance jet.

Karcher 2500ph pressure washer spill valve has been replaced pull wand trigger pressure good for 3 or 4 seconds drops off for a second or 2 goes back to good pressure for 3 or 4 seconds drops off again for...

If you have a Karcher then you should always post your machines barcode.

full article on nozzles :

The spill valve operates at approx 20% higher than specified pressure washer operating pressure. If you have any lance issues then the pressure could be running higher than specified (machine running at same pressure as spill valve operation pressure)

your machine produces a fixed flowrate of water (maybe 8 litres per minute) and your nozzle is a fixed size. the diameter of the nozzle determines the back pressure. A piece of debris could further close your nozzle orifice and increase the back pressure. Using a new lance that has the wrong nozzle fitted can also cause this issue.

The karcher barcode is on a silver sticker and is usually 15 digits long. Example 156987400000123 is actually model 1.569-874.0 and serial number 00123....

Water does not come out of the lance when I squeeze the trigger

HI it sounds like you may just have a blocked jet on the end of your lance. Please remove and clean.

Sounds to me that you may have a blocked high pressure jet.

1800 power washer will not run - power is getting to on/off switch

Maybe just the pressure switch is stuck or you have trapped pressure in the lance. Try without the high pressure hose and then activate the pressure switch on the side of the pump as this may not be letting the machine to statr if its stuck.

Lost pressure

try this
dissconect hose and lance , and check for water flow through the machine , if theres none or just a trickle then you may have gunk in your inlet filter ( usually a small plastic gauze insert just where the water feed hose connects )
then start machine , check for high pressure flow ( you will see the difference )
its quite common for the nozzle on the lance to become blocked
if all this seems fine but the lance is vibrating then you have a blockage in one or more of your pump valves .

Take the lance off and look to see if there is a missing o-ring or maybe a crack

Pressure pulsating when pulling trigger

you have a restriction in the nozzle end of the lance. clean with paper clip.
if not you have some dirt in the pump head valves which need cleaning

Motor pulsates in rapid sucsession little pressure, with lance removed continuesto run normal, new lance same problem,my estimation is the valve at fault that controls the pressure switch

It could be the pressure switch itself at fault. If it is reading (in error) too much pressure, it will shut off for a second and then pulse as you say.

If the pump seals have gone, you may get this effect too. Depends if the pump is being controlled wrongly, or just malfunctioning itself.
